Necessity Mothers Invention!

Okay, how stinkin' cute are they?
And do you see what they're doing?
Eating their ice cream out of the cones.
With a spoon.

This is a perfect example of making lemonade from lemons...
Making do...
Getting by....
Gettin' 'er done!

The cones were a wee bit stale...
Don't try to get stale cones by these guys, uh, uh!

The spoon.... A great invention!
And there's nothing like ice cream in summertime.

Hi Ruth:

It just occurred to me that my poem above might not be clear to everyone. A translation:

To use a spoon
To eat a cone
When a cone
Was invented
To replace the spoon
Is like having
A cow
Be Jumped over
By the moon.

That’s the cute version.

P.S. My new Wave Petunias are the pride of our walkway potted garden.

Vince, I understood both and loved them!!! And aren't you just over-the-top in love with Wave Petunias???? Talk about a cheap thrill, LOL! I have them in hanging baskets... Love 'em! Just put a whole bunch in at my mother-in-law's place... Love 'em!!! And in my porch garden... Gorgeous!

You make me smile, Vince!
